Superintendent

Position Available

Responsibilities and Experience

Experience with construction and building experience with multi-trade residential high-end remodeling, construction, and custom home building. This job requires strong trades knowledge with a heavy emphasis on rough and trim carpentry and layout skills. Candidates will need a track record of managing all residential building trades, materials, inspections and owners on multiple concurrent job sites. Must have had extensive hands-on carpentry training, knowledge and experience in past. Able to manage job costs, change orders, billing approvals, subcontractor hiring, project schedules, homeowners inspections and all daily communications. Self-motivated, get it done attitude, client complete satisfaction focused with a proven track record. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the use of email and other Microsoft programs.

Desired Skills and Experience

Minimum of 10 years of residential construction management experience with a focus on remodeling / renovation. Extensive knowledge with a heavy emphasis on rough and trim carpentry and layout skills. Candidates will need a track record of managing all residential building trades from rough framing to final trim. Excavation / concrete knowledge a plus. Must have a proven track record of successful job completions with excellent client interaction / communication skills. BuilderTrend software experience a plus but must exhibit a standard level of computer skills.

Service Tech

Position Available

Responsibilities and Experience

Must have proven experience in residential remodeling with strong trade knowledge.
Must have hands-on experience in several trades, including rough and trim carpentry, plumbing, tile, drywall, etc.
Excellent communication skills
Results-driven, with ability to effectively manage and follow-up on multiple priorities.
Basic computer knowledge.
Local travel to client homes.
Recording and reporting on service calls timeliness and completions.

Architect

Position Available

Responsibilities and Experience

This is a unique position that allows you to not only draw projects but actually see them get built internally and work with both design & build on staff department professionals. Important skills for the position include the ability to manage your workflow of many jobs at one time , collaboratively engineer out drawings for permit submission and full construction drawings, including field measurements and issue resolution for our construction teams’ questions. You must have a detailed understanding of how to build each project, along with the CAD skills to produce detailed sets of construction documents for purchasing and ordering , client sign offs and support of our in-house permitting department.

Requirements for the position :

Proven skills and successes related to CAD, design, construction, and drafting of construction documents “CD’s”.
Excellent organizational skills
College degree and Illinois Registered Architect License are preferred.
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Ensure that all designs adhere to governing zoning, building and safety codes and regulations.
Experienced in review and redline of team drawings.
Well versed in permit submissions and zoning reviews for same.
Complete comfort in preparation of working blueprints for residential single-family homes and large remodeling projects including kitchens and baths cabinet details.
Good understanding of residential SF homes interior details including electrical layouts and mechanical systems
Value engineering of drawings.
Good knowledge of residential construction building products and components.
Experience in managing AutoCAD libraries and related programs for the department.
