The basement of this Glencoe residence underwent a remarkable transformation to create a multi-functional space that caters to relaxation and entertainment. The clients desired a seamless integration of a theater room, workout area, climate-controlled wine cellar, and kitchenette, all while maintaining an inviting atmosphere for family and guest entertainment.

Special Considerations

The challenge was to harmoniously blend distinct areas within the spacious basement. Ceiling treatments and furniture layouts played a crucial role in segmenting the expansive space into distinct zones that are both manageable and welcoming.

The Solution

This project culminated in the creation of a basement remodel that redefines basement living. The space now houses a multi-level theater room for cinematic experiences, a well-equipped workout area, and a climate-controlled wine cellar with custom steel frame doors.
