Responsibilities:

  • High volume Accounts Payable transaction processing
  • Account Analysis and Statement Reconciliation
  • Meet invoice processing deadlines for weekly check runs
  • Respond to requests from material suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Maintain subcontractor insurance certificates
  • Expense report verification and processing
  • High volume credit card reconciliation
  • Other ad hoc reporting

Hours and Location:

  •   Full time position Monday – Friday in Lincolnwood

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Self-motivated
  • Able to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • At least two years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:

Here we grow again! Airoom Architects, Builders & Remodelers has a unique opportunity for driven individuals familiar with architecture, design and construction to work with clients designing and selling residential remodeling and building projects.  Important skills for the position includes the ability to listen to your client, conceptualize a design solution for them, understanding of how to construct the project and the talent to motivate your client to sign contract engagements with Airoom. If you have strong proven leadership traits, like to be well compensated for your skills, and have the ability to work with multiple clients at once, this position will offer you the career you want. This is an upfront client contact leadership position that requires confidence, experience and a strong ability to influence people and decisions. We supply all leads, no cold calling. An entrepreneurial spirit or experience running your own business is a plus. Ideal candidate will have a combination of “left brain” and “right brain” personalities.

Hours and Location:

  •   Full time position Monday – Friday in Lincolnwood

Desired Skills and Experience:

Requirements for the position are provable skills and successes related to design, construction, leadership and sales. Candidates must have the ability to work 3 evenings during the week.  Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills as well as hand sketching are required.  Candidates must be highly motivated to succeed and desire higher income potential. This is not a drafting position and therefore not a typical 8 to 5 office position.   College Degree in architecture, design or project management preferred.

Kitchen and Bath Draftsperson

Responsbilities:

  • Background and experience with drafting detailed kitchen and bathroom plans and elevations for high end remodeling and renovations for kitchens and bathrooms.
  • Candidate must be capable of creating construction drawing for kitchens and bathrooms for actual ordering and take-offs.
  • The position requires the ability to keep up with a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
  • 7+ years of experience in kitchen and bath documentation, with strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to create AutoCAD drawings of detailed kitchen and bath layouts and elevations.
  • Proven track record in the K&B industry, including recent work history with a high end kitchen and bath dealer or reseller.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and provide documents to architectural staff in a timely manner.
  • Computer literacy and experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office required.

Hours and Location:

  • Full time position Monday – Friday in Lincolnwood

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in kitchen and bath drawings and takeoff.
  • Computer proficient
  • Experience with AutoCAD, MS Office products, Word, Excel and Outlook a must.

Hands-On Service Technician

Responsibilities and Experience:

  •  Experience with multi-trade residential remodeling, construction and repair work.
  • Hands-on experience and tools for carpentry, electric, plumbing, tile, drywall, and trim.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve service issues for high end residential remodeling, including kitchens, baths, additions and basements.
  • Knowledge of current codes and proper construction techniques
  • Hand and power tools, truck or van.
  • Self-motivated, with a proven track record of being able to complete work on time and correctly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the use of email and other Microsoft programs.
  • Results-driven, with ability to effectively manage and follow-up on multiple priorities.
  • Recent client recommendations.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Timberline estimating software a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with any estimating software.
  • Experience negotiating  and executing subcontract agreements
  • Fluent with most Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
