The Picture Perfect Winnetka Kitchen Remodel

Winnetka couple John and Kathy Roeser are always ready for a new project to enhance their family lifestyle. They both managing successful careers, two teenagers, and two dogs, so they understand the importance of keeping everything in order, and making sure everything is just how it needs to be. It is that same diligence that brought them back to Airoom to remodel their kitchen, breakfast room and dining room. This project marked their fourth with Airoom, but not their last.

With their kitchen, dining room and breakfast room remodel only recently finished, the Roesers are ready for more. “They’re so open to suggestions from the whole design staff that it allows us to push design boundaries, and really take their home to a whole new level,” says Gina Bon, designer of their most recent work. Next in line is a new bathroom, laundry room, and lower level.

“They know and trust our team, and they also know what they need,” she continues. “So, they let us know and we knock it out for them.”

The 2015 Designer Kitchens of the North Shore Kitchen Tour

Friday, May 1, from 10 am to 3 pm, the Junior League of Evanston-Northshore will be hosting their fifth annual Designer Kitchens tour. The Roeser’s kitchen and remodeling by the Airoom team will be one of the main attractions.

“We have done 5 remodeling projects in our home over the last 10 years. The last four projects have been with Airoom,” says homeowner Kathy Roeser. “From the unique design, attention to detail and quality work, we couldn’t be more pleased.”

The tour will start in the newly redesigned foyer, where viewers will be able to see their remodeled dining room before continuing through the foyer to the kitchen. There, they’ll find a large island, beautiful views of the yard, and built-in cabinetry.

“The Roesers wanted more space in the kitchen,” notes Gina, “so on top of gutting the existing space and redoing the cabinets and island , we also moved one of the walls back into the dining room to allow for more room in the kitchen.”

“It took a while to convince me to make the dining room smaller,” said Kathy, “and now I wish I had taken more space – it was totally the right decision from Airoom.”
